These little guys have had a challenging start to life after each were born with serious heart defects. The story Don’t Steal My Sunshine is still being written. It will chronicle their mom’s crazy pregnancy, the long hospitalizations once they were born, and the many highs and lows the Swank family encountered while the twins had 9 different surgeries between the two of them. The Swank family is now celebrating the one year anniversary of little Luker going to the edge of life and coming back to them.. In honor of this occasion, they’d like to tell their story in hopes of inspiring other parents that faith and a positive attitude can get a family through the darkest times. The story will be posted by March of 2001.
