Boring and Sloppy Week in March

March 14, 2010

It was a boring, sloppy week as we dealt with rain and melting snow in Minnesota. I'm so ready for some sunshine I could just spit!

On Wednesday night, we joined the boys at church for their Living Water class. The youth ministers sure make church upbeat and inspiring! I really like singing the songs they play as well even if the kids say I'm hurting their ears. I'm sure they're just kidding!

On Thursday night, we had parent teacher conferences. The fifth graders all had to actively participate in the meetings by doing a presentation about how they're doing in school. Now that's putting them smart boards to good use!

Luke also did a fine job delivering his presentation, but wasn't nearly as happy to get his photo taken while doing it!

At Nor-Tech, we're making ever and ever more cool technology solutions. This is a Viz Wall featuring a cluster supercomputer, two projectors providing 3D stereoscopic imagery, and a wall of four 30" displays. It's for one of our University customers. Now that's a school with some classes I'd like to attend!

On Friday night, we went to Grandma Linda's for some good old fashioned home cooking. She made us a roast. Not sure why I feel the need to tell you all that. It's probably because she told me about that roast every day for a week before we had it! It was a good roast.

On Saturday, we made a trek to the dog park to provide some satisfaction to our poor puppy who feels like he's been cooped up in the house all winter. He was just a little bit happy to be there.

We were having quite a bit of fun running and jumping through the puddles of water until we came to the sudden realization that there was an awful lot of dog poop in there.
